Herbs, Naturally Good and Good for You

Herbs can soften your skin, make your hair shine, sooth your nerves, and spice up your meals. What do you want for breakfast oatmeal with cinnamon? Cinnamon is a spice that lowers your blood sugar. You can also put oatmeal in you bathwater to soften your skin.
Check out the offerings of nature, it's bountiful!
Herbs have been used for literally thousands of years. The way the herb looked was an indication of what it was good for. For instance, when you cut a carrot into rounds, look at it, what does it look like? They look like eyes, right? They are good for your eyes!
Look at walnuts, they look like a brain. What is it good for, the brain I think that is amazing.
I can't say enough about herbs. You have to be sure and get the right one though. You must go by the scientific name for them.
Ginger is good for an upset stomach. Do you have motion sickness? About thirty minutes before you travel, take about 1/8 teaspoon of powdered ginger and put it in hot water and stir and drink. You'll feel much better.(If you want to sweeten it you can.)
Aloe Vera is good for scrapes, burns and the like. Just take a leaf, peel it and put it on a sore for healing. My son went to Galveston one time and fell asleep in the sun for about 4 hours. Needless to say, he was burnt to a crisp including his ears. His ears were literally black. If you had thumped his ears, they would have fallen off. I am not exaggerating. My husband applied aloe vera on him for about three hours, (it does take a while) but the next day, his ears were pink like they are supposed to be. How's that for healing power?
If you live up north, take ground cayenne pepper and put it in your socks and gloves, it will keep you warm without electricity or batteries.
Herbs are simply amazing.
The difference between herbs and spices is herbs are made from the leaves and flowers of the plant while spices are made from the stem, seeds, roots and bark of the plant.
Take figs, if you open them and you put them a boil, they suck the poison out of it and heals it. Who would have ever thought figs could do that?
